Who writes and reviews our content
Every guide on this site is published under the byline of Wolfgang Croskey, Founder and Broker of Record, California DRE #01708438. Service and resident pages carry a visible "Reviewed by" credential band with the date of the last review. The brokerage operates under corporate license DRE #01990430.
Our sourcing standard
When a page states California law, it links the official text: leginfo.ca.gov for statutes and bills, and government sources such as the California Department of Real Estate, HUD, and the U.S. Census Bureau for regulatory and market facts. Market figures on our city pages cite their official sources in a visible sources strip. We do not cite secondary summaries where the primary source is available.
How technology assists, and where humans decide
We use AI tools to help draft and organize content. A licensed human reviews everything before it goes live, and decisions that affect people, such as rental applications, are always made by licensed team members, never automated. Our full disclosure is published at AI & Human Oversight.
Testimonials and imagery
Testimonials on this site are quoted verbatim from our public Google Business Profile reviews and attributed to the reviewer. We do not fabricate, edit, or compress quotes beyond trimming at sentence boundaries, and we do not attribute a location a reviewer did not state. Photographs of people are real photographs; we do not publish AI-generated imagery of people.
Freshness and updates
Pages that state law or pricing carry visible review or revision dates. When California legislation changes, the affected guides are updated and their "last reviewed" dates reflect the change. Blog posts that receive a substantive update show both the original and updated dates.
Corrections
If you find an error, tell us: info@croskeyrealestate.com or (925) 336-3282. Verified corrections are applied to the page itself and its review date is updated. We would rather fix it than defend it.
